Crystals are highly uniform and high purity of the material: the ideal crystal lattice or homogeneity of the crystallites. Special techniques allow to obtain crystals with special properties. The crystals are separated into single crystals and polycrystals, on the chemical composition and the use of, for example, in optics, electronics, laser technology, solar energy and other fields of science and technology.
